This young and dynamic new media company is one of the nation’s pre-eminent independently owned online solutions business with a head office in Sydney. The team spend their lives working on media products and services as well as developing the corporate culture within the business.

Due to continued growth, a role for Company Business Consultant has arisen.  Reporting to the Commercial Manager this role is seen as an integral part of the company’s finance and commercial team. Key areas of responsibility are;

·Financial Analysis and Accounting

This is the most critical part of the job and the most valuable contribution you will make to the business as a whole.  You will absolutely have a great understanding and acumen around numbers.  This would also mean that you have appropriate professional accounting qualifications and have extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and month end. In addition you will need to be proficient at spreadsheets and the position plays an important role in educating and communicating with all of the incredibly creative and intelligent “non-accountants” across the business!

·Compliance

You are a compliance guru and make sure there are no breaches of any financial obligations. This includes an annual audit, BAS, FBT returns, tax returns, GST.

·Managing & Leading Key Relationships

You are responsible for being on the front foot, ensuring the commercial thinking is right and managing relationships with key partners.  These include the internal staff, lawyers, technicians, marketing, the other accountants and Senior Management.
