This is a unique opportunity to play a key part in a major transformation driven by a core systems replacement. The organisation is highly respected and recognised as a sought after employer.
Reporting to the CIO, the Applications Manager plays a key pivotal role within the IT organisation and will have responsibility for all aspects of Applications Development, Solution Delivery and providing Application Support, Leadership to the Applications team, Business Stakeholder Management and Vendor Management in the context of a core banking system replacement.
To be successful in the role, you’ll need highly developed leadership and communication skills with a track record of building customer focussed high performance teams. Extensive experience in full SDLC and solution architecture. Familiarity with the Financial Services Sector is critical (ideally retail banking). Your experience will also include demonstrable executive stake holder management, commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
