Faz Fazal

Faz Fazal graduated with Honours in Decision Sciences and subsequently worked in the accounting and finance arena whilst pursuing his professional accountancy qualifications.

Having worked in a variety of industries from telecoms to banking, in the late nineties Faz commenced his talent career with a FTSE 100  listed global consulting group. This included day to day recruitment as well as the training, development and leadership of large consulting, sourcing & recruitment teams including the management and implementation of RPO solutions.

In 2000, Faz moved to Australia permanently and held a number of senior appointments with one of Australia’s leading ASX listed recruitment firms providing talent acquisition, talent management & HR services. This included holding the role of General Manager responsible for over 60 staff with P&L responsibility across a number of functional practices in multiple sectors including:

Accounting | Banking, Finance & Insurance | Technology | Sales & Marketing | Legal, Risk & Compliance | Human Resources | Government.

In 2008, Faz as one of the original founders established Stonewater Consulting Group (SCG), a privately owned Australian specialist professional services firm providing strategic and operational solutions in what we refer to as the “Human Capital Value Chain”. This includes solutions in Talent, Assessment & Development Services, Market Commentary & Insights and Career Transition & Mentoring Services. In addition to the day to day business and general management of SCG and its staff including strategy formation and execution (as the group’s Managing Director); Faz continues to enjoy operational responsibilities in providing successful Human Capital solutions to Australasia’s business leaders and executives alike.
